 The National Main Street Network is a
professional program for organizations involved in commercial district
revitalization. Our Chillicothe
Development Corporation, through its efforts to preserve the heritage of our community
and buildings while promoting economic growth in our downtown area, established Main
Street Chillicothe in November, 2000.
In August, 2007, Gov. Matt Blunt visited Chillicothe and announced that the city had been chosen to participate in the 2007 DREAM Initiative - a program which helps communities more efficiently and effectively engage in downtown redevelopment and revitalization efforts. |
